RESOLUTION N0.8 <br />SERIES 2009 <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING REFUSE, RECYCLABLES AND COMPOSTABLES <br />COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL FEES EFFECTIVE JUNE 1, 2009 FOR THE CITY OF <br />LOUISVILLE, COLORADO <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the City of Louisville Charter, the City of Louisville Municipal <br />Code and state law, the City is authorized to fix, establish, impose, maintain and provide for the <br />collection of rates, fees and charges for refuse, recyclables and compostables utility services <br />furnished by the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council by this resolution desires to establish the various rates, <br />fees and charges for City utility services, effective June 1, 2009; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br />SECTION 1. For refuse collection and disposal, the following rates, fees and charges shall <br />apply and be charged effective June 1, 2009: <br />Container Size Rate <br />32 Gallon $ 7.95/month <br />64 Gallon $14.30/month <br />96 Gallon $20.65/month <br />Additional refuse carts, any size, if <br />96 anon refuse service is rovided $ 2.00/month <br />Each account subject to refuse collection and disposal service shall be entitled to recycling service at <br />no additional charge. <br />SECTION 2. For compostables processing utility services provided by the City, the <br />following rates, fees and charges shall apply and be charged effective June 1, 2009: <br />Container Size Rate <br />32 Gallon $ 2.75/month <br />64 Gallon $ 5.50/month <br />96 Gallon $ 8.25/month <br />Additional compostable carts, any <br />size, if 96 gallon compostables <br />service is rovided $ 2.00/month <br />
