<br />Louisville Local Licensing Authority <br />Meeting Date: February 23, 2004 <br />Page 6 of 6 <br /> <br />City of Louisville and set the public hearing date for the next Local Licensing Authority <br />meeting on March 29, 2004. Wilson seconded. Roll Call Vote: Koertje - yes, Mulvahill <br />- yes, Paige - yes, Wilson - yes. <br /> <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS <br /> <br />A. Incident Report - Melting Pot - 2/6/03 - This incident involved the manager <br />of the Melting Pot calling the police when a customer appeared intoxicated. The <br />manager had offered the customer a ride home and became concerned that she was <br />too intoxicated to care for her child. The officer responded to the home and determined <br />that the woman was able to properly care for her child. No Authority action was <br />required. <br /> <br />B. Incident Report - Bungalow Liquors - 2/4/04 - This incident began when the <br />Police Officer observed a car sitting outside the establishment. The car drove away and <br />was later stopped by the officer. The driver was issued a summons. Detective <br />Gordanier commented the gentleman was contacted 11 :22 PM and he did not provide a <br />breath sample until 12:11 AM. The comment was also made that it could not be <br />determined who bought the liquor. There was no contact with the establishment. The <br />Authority took no action on this matter. <br /> <br />SECRETARY'S REPORT <br /> <br />Deputy City Clerk Hanson reported eleven people from establishments in Louisville <br />attended Liquor Training in January. <br /> <br />AUTHORITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br /> <br />Attorney Tiffanie Bleau introduced Melissa Barnett who will be acting as Authority <br />Attorney in the future. <br /> <br />AUTHORITY COMMENTS <br /> <br />Member Paige congratulated Chairperson Koertje on his first meeting as chair. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Paige moved to adjourn @ 8:00 p.m. Mulvahill seco <br />were in favor. <br /> <br /> <br />(]~~ / <br /> <br />Carol Hanson, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />Michael <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br />G:\UQUOR\2004\MINUTES\MINUTES FEB 04.DOC <br />
