<br />Louisville Local Licensing Authority <br />Meeting Date: April 26, 2004 <br />Page 5 of 6 <br /> <br />Wilson made a motion the Authority approve the Special Events Permit pending the <br />additional information about how the liquor would be removed. Mulvahill seconded. <br />Attorney Light made a friendly amendment that the Permit be approved upon the <br />condition the applicant provide the City the information concerning the removal of the <br />alcohol. Motioner and seconder accepted the friendly amendment. Roll Call Vote: <br />Koertje-yes, Mulvahill-yes, Lipton-yes, Wilson-yes and Rommelfanger-yes. <br /> <br />D. New Liquor License Application - Setting of Public Hearing - Sanabria <br />Enterprise, Inc. d/b/a Abo's Pizza - Hotel and Restaurant License - 1355 <br />South Boulder Rd. C2 <br /> <br />Attorney Light explained this item was before the Authority to set the boundaries of the <br />neighborhood and to set public hearing. Traditionally, the boundaries are set as the <br />City of Louisville boundaries. <br /> <br />Lipton moved the Authority set the boundaries for Sanabria Enterprise, Inc. d/b/a Abo's <br />Pizza as the current boundaries of the City of Louisville and set the public hearing on <br />the new Hotel and Restaurant License for May 24,2004. Wilson seconded. Roll Call <br />Vote: Koertje-yes, Mulvahill-yes, Lipton-yes, Wilson-yes and Rommelfanger-yes. <br /> <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS <br /> <br />None to Report <br /> <br />SECRETARY'S REPORT <br /> <br />Deputy City Clerk Hanson reported twenty-five people from establishments in Louisville <br />attended Liquor Training on April 18th. <br /> <br />Hanson included in the packet notification of two wine tasting events to be held in the <br />parking lot at Centennial Wine and Spirits on May 14th and 15th and on May 21 st and <br />May 22nd. There was discussion about how these events work and what the Local <br />Authority's responsibility is. Authority Attorney Light suggested if the Authority <br />continues to receive a number of these there might be a call for a work session to <br />determine if additional documents would be required from the applicant. <br /> <br />AUTHORITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br /> <br />Attorney Light reviewed a memo prepared by his office concerning the Marriott wanting <br />to change their Hotel and Restaurant Licenses to Tavern Licenses. <br /> <br />Light reported on a bill working its way through legislation concerning sting operations. <br />The bill now contains ideas about training and considering that training as a factor in <br /> <br />5 <br /> <br />G:\UQUOR\2004\MINUTES\MINUTES APR 04.DOC <br />
