SUBJECT: STAFF UPDATES <br />DATE: DECEMBER 18, 2020 PAGE 2 OF 2 <br />Business Retention & Development Committee (BRaD) Purpose: <br />In order to address business pandemic support recommendations, the EVC's planned <br />review of the BRaD Committee purpose was removed from the December 18 agenda. <br />BRaD met on December 7, at which time the members' consensus was that the <br />Committee should remain in place and be appointed a Council liaison. The Committee <br />plans to prepare a letter to the City Council. BRaD also wants to continue meeting, <br />though staff is not preparing substantive agenda items at this time. It is anticipated the <br />EVC will next consider this item at its January 15 meeting; BRaD meets again on <br />January 4. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />No action required; for information only. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />None. <br />Agenda Packet P.31 <br />
