Revitalization Commission <br />Minutes <br />December 9, 2020 <br />Page 2 of 5 <br />Reports of Commission: <br />Commissioner Adler recognized Chair Fisher and Commissioner Bradfield for their <br />significant contributions to LRC. <br />Council member Leh, on behalf of Council, also thanked Chair Fisher and <br />Commissioner Bradfield. <br />Business Matters of Commission: <br />• Resolution 20-05: Adopting the Annual Budget and Appropriating <br />Expenditures for Fiscal Year 2021 for the Louisville Revitalization <br />Commission <br />Economic Vitality Director Pierce said this item is back before LRC for final <br />approval after receiving Council approval in November. Director Pierce noted <br />the Terraces on Main agreement is based on future tax revenue that is not <br />currently being received by the LRC. No current revenues are owed to <br />developer, thus is not represented in the 2021 budget. <br />Chair Fisher moved to adopt Resolution 20-05, Commissioner Bradfield <br />seconded. <br />Roll call vote: <br />Chair Fisher - yes <br />Commissioner Bradfield - yes <br />Commissioner Tofte - yes <br />Commissioner Gorsevski - yes <br />Commissioner Adler - yes <br />Council member Leh - yes <br />Commissioner Gambale - yes <br />Motion passes <br />Discussion/Direction — Public Art Proposal and Funding for South Street <br />Underpass <br />Director Pierce said this item is on the work plan and the Louisville Cultural <br />Council (LCC) representative is attending this morning in order to gauge LRC <br />interest in participating. She clarified that today is a discussion to gauge LRC <br />interest, but that City Attorney Kelly will still need to determine if public art is an <br />appropriate use of TIF funds. <br />Cultural Arts Project Manager Katie Zoss said the Louisville Cultural Council <br />(LCC) has committed to funding the underpass portion of the project.
