<br />Louisville Local Licensing Authority <br />Meeting Date: October 25, 2004 <br />Page 5 of 6 <br /> <br />The decision was made to schedule all the show cause hearings for next month and set <br />the meeting time for 6:00 p.m. to accommodate everything. <br /> <br />Lipton made a motion to have a show cause hearing for the Barn Store on this incident <br />and appoint a prosecutor for the matter. Wilson seconded. Roll Call Vote: Mulvahill - <br />yes, Rommelfanger - yes, Wilson - yes, Lipton - yes, Koertje - yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />F. I ncident Report - The Back Room - 9/28/04 <br /> <br />Officers were sent to The Back Room on a disturbance call. It seemed to be a domestic <br />situation but citations were ultimately issued for selling to certain persons prohibited. <br /> <br />Discussion centered on whether there was an issue of over serving. <br /> <br />Lipton made a motion to hold a show cause hearing on this matter. Rommelfanger <br />seco!lded. Roll Call Vote: Mulvahill - no, Rommelfanger - yes, Wilson - yes, Lipton - <br />yes, Koertje - yes. Motion carried. ' <br /> <br />G. Incident Report - Blue Parrot - 10/5/04 <br /> <br />Officer Blackney was present and introduced himself to the Authority. He was available <br />to answer questions concerning an incident at the Blue Parrot. An employee had called <br />the police because they were concerned about the actions of a patron. She was not <br />acting intoxicated but reported to the waitress she was a diabetic. The officer stated <br />she did not appear intoxicated when he arrived on the scene. <br /> <br />The Authority concluded no further action need be taken on this incident and thanked <br />Officer Blackney for appearing. <br /> <br />Detective Lanphere stated the officers might not be present at every meeting, but <br />thought it was a good opportunity for both the Authority and the officers. He thanked <br />the Authority for listening to the officers and thanked the officers for taking the time to <br />attend. The Authority echoed their thanks to the officers. <br /> <br />SECRETARY'S REPORT <br /> <br />Hanson included a report on the seller/server training held in Louisville on Sunday, <br />October 17, 2004. Forty people were in attendance, sixteen were from <br />Louisville establishments. Hanson reported the draft ordinance prepared as a result of <br />the Authority workshop had been adopted by Council. The only changes made by <br />Council were taking out mention of Liquor Licensed Drugstores and the notification to <br />the Police Department.
