<br />Louisville Local Licensing Authority <br />Meeting Date: October 25,2004 <br />Page 4 of 6 <br /> <br />Officer Welter was in attendance at the Authority meeting and introduced himself to the <br />members. Questions from the Authority centered on the definition of a habitual <br />drunkard, the credibility of the other party involved and whether or not Druids Arms had <br />any liquor violations in this incident. <br /> <br />The Authority thanked Officer Welter for his report and concluded no further action was <br />required. <br /> <br />C. Incident Report - 9/23/04 - Druids Arms <br /> <br />An officer witnessed a fight starting at 900 Spruce Street and contacted a female <br />involved who stated she had been drinking at Druids Arms. She was issued a <br />summons for underage drinking and the bartender at Druids was cited for selling to her. <br /> <br />Officer McMillan introduced himself to the Authority. McMillan was asked if he issued a <br />summons to the bartender. He answered he had. Mulvahill motioned a show cause <br />citation be issued to the establishment for service to an underage person and to <br />appoint a special prosecutor. Rommelfanger seconded. Roll Call Vote: Mulvahill- <br />yes, Rommelfanger - yes, Wilson - yes, Lipton - yes, Koertje - yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />H. I ncident Report - 10/14/04 - Louisville Discount Liquor <br /> <br />This incident was a reported theft at this store. The Authority saw no reason for further <br />action on this. <br /> <br />The Authority thanked Officer McMillan for his participation in this meeting. <br /> <br />D. Incident Report - 8/29/04 - Henry's <br /> <br />An individual riding a bicycle in an erratic way was contacted by police. He stated he <br />had been drinking at Henry's. Summonses were issued to the bartender and owner of <br />Henry's for selling to certain persons prohibited. <br /> <br />Wilson moved for a show cause hearing on this incident for selling to certain persons <br />prohibited at the next meeting. Lipton seconded. Roll Call Vote: Mulvahill - yes, <br />Rommelfanger - yes, Wilson - yes, Lipton - yes, Koertje - yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />E. Incident Report - 9/2/04 - Barn Store <br /> <br />A clerk at the Barn Store was suspected of selling to a visibly intoxicated party. An <br />officer was sent to Walnut and Jefferson on a report of an intoxicated party carrying a <br />case of beer. Later investigation by the officer concluded the beer was purchased at <br />the Barn Store and videotape later confirmed that. <br /> <br />Discussion centered on how many hearings could be scheduled on one meeting night. <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />G'UQUOR\2004\MINUTES\MINUTES OCTOBER 04.DOC <br />
