City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />January 19, 2021 <br />Page 2 of 7 <br />APPROVAL OF THE CONSENT AGENDA <br />Mayor Stolzmann asked for changes to the consent agenda; hearing none she asked for <br />a motion. Mayor Pro Tern Maloney moved to approve the consent agenda, seconded by <br />Councilmember Fahey. All in favor. <br />A. Approval of Bills <br />B. Approval of Minutes: January 5, 2021; January 12, 2021 <br />C. Approval of Resolution No. 4, Series 2021— A Resolution Approving <br />the Temporary Waiver of Certain Liquor License Fees <br />D. Approve Cancellation of January 26 Special Meeting <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON THE <br />AGENDA <br />Mayor Stolzmann stated that residents can send comments on transportation directly to <br />Public Works or to City Council at this time. She added the Council looks at boards and <br />duties periodically. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />Director Pierce reported on the Small Business Grant Program noting the Revitalization <br />Commission has committed up to $150,000 in funding for businesses in the Urban <br />Renewal Area. She stated she has received 66 applications and almost all of those were <br />eligible for funding however it was fewer applications than we anticipated. <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br />BOULDER COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH COVID-19 UPDATE <br />Jeff Zayach from Boulder County Public Health (BCPH) gave an update on where we are <br />currently with COVID numbers. He noted the numbers are decreasing slightly from the <br />holiday spike and Boulder County is doing pretty well at the moment. He noted long term <br />care cases are also declining but these populations are still heavily impacted. He noted <br />there currently is plenty of adequate testing for the County. He emphasized the <br />importance of masks in keeping the infection rate down. <br />Chris Campbell, Boulder County Public Health Emergency Manager, reported on the <br />progress of the vaccination program. He noted providers are required to follow the State's <br />phased plan. In Boulder County we are almost done vaccinating group 1A which is <br />frontline healthcare workers and long-term care facility staff and residents. Work is <br />beginning on Phase 1 B for people over 70. Once that is done they will move on the <br />educators and others in 1 B. <br />
