Lc�tyoJ <br />Louisville <br />COLORADO -SINCE 1878 <br />Economic Vitality Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />Friday, January 15, 2021 <br />Regular Electronic Meeting <br />Call to Order: Councilmember Dickinson (Chair) called the electronic meeting <br />to order at 1:30 PM. <br />II. Roll Call: The following members of the City Council were present: <br />Councilmember Dickinson, Mayor Pro Tern Maloney, and Councilmember Leh. <br />Also present were City Manager Heather Balser, Economic Vitality Director <br />Megan Pierce, and six members of the public. <br />III. Approval of Agenda: Councilmember Leh made a motion to approve the <br />agenda. Motion was seconded by Mayor Pro Tern Maloney. Motion passed. <br />IV. Approval of Meeting Minutes: Councilmember Leh made a motion to approve <br />the meeting minutes of December 18, 2020; motion was seconded by Mayor <br />Pro Tern Maloney. Motion passed. <br />V. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda: <br />None. <br />VI. Discussion/Direction- Business Retention & Development (BRaD) <br />Committee Purpose and Function: Director Pierce noted that this was a <br />continuation of the dialogue around the BRaD Committee that started in <br />November. She also directed the Council to the letter in the agenda packet that <br />had been provided to the EVC as a result of the last BRaD Committee meeting <br />in January. Mayor Pro Tern Maloney clarified language in Director Pierce's <br />memo —stating that the EVC did not vote on its last structure discussion; rather <br />it came to consensus. <br />Chair Dickinson expressed appreciation for the thought that went into the letter <br />from the BRaD Committee.
