Ascent Church purchased the property at 550 S. McCaslin Blvd, the former Sam's Club
property, and have abandoned their plans to pursue development in the St Louis Parish
and Commercial Park GDP.
Earlier this year, the city approved a second amendment to the St. Louis Parish and
Commercial Park General Development Plan (GDP) to amend allowed uses and
development standards to accommodate the current vision for the property. This
included allowing industrial as a use by right, reducing a buffer area along 96th Street
and modifying design standards related to building height, roof pitch and location of
parking in relation to the building location along 96th St.
PROPOSAL:
Final Plat
The St. Louis Parish and Bolder Innovation Campus Filing 1 subdivision plat creates
two parcels, four lots and two outlots over the entire extent of the property subject to the
GDP. The accompanying PUD proposes development
on two of these four lots. This final plat is consistent with the preliminary plat approved
by the city 2018, with minor amendments to easements and the public land dedication
areas, as described further below.
Figure 1:
CN-S y
St Louis Parish and Bolder Innovation Campus Filing 1
Lots
Parcel 2
t
t _ J
t t —
t — -
t
DETAIL
,s"fs`iF'N 1
N w
16
Parcel 1
Y1W w;P LINE Tl1BLE ~ xo„o xamm. mos ixn wec as
The plat establishes access easements to accommodate development on Lots 1-4, as
the GDP no longer requires public streets.
