Section 2. Section 13.12.080 of the Louisville Municipal Code entitled "Bulk Water Charges:" is <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Water service not supplied to a specific property location by a standard tap shall be charged as follows: <br />the bulk water user shall pay an annual permit fee of five hundred dollars ($500.00) plus the sum <br />of three dollars fifty cents ($ 3.50) per thousand (1,000) gallons used, or such user may pay on the <br />same basis as those customers served by meter as set forth under this Chapter. In such event, the <br />customer shall request meter service, pay a proper deposit for the meter, and also pay to the City the <br />cost of setting the meter. <br /> <br /> Section 4. The increases in tap fees and bulk water charges contained in Sections 1, 2 and 3 of this <br />Ordinance shall take effect upon the effective date of this ordinance pursuant to C.R.S.31-16-105. <br /> <br /> Section 5. If any portion of this ordinance is held to be invalid for any reason, such <br />decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance. The City Council <br />hereby declares that it would have passed this ordinance and each part hereof irrespective of the <br />fact that any one part be declared invalid. <br /> <br /> Section 6. The repeal or modification of any provision of the Municipal Code of the <br />City of Louisville by this ordinance shall not release, extinguish, alter, modify, or change in whole <br />or in part any penalty, forfeiture, or liability, either civil or criminal, which shall have been <br />incurred under such provision, and each provision shall be treated and held as still remaining in <br />force for the purpose of sustaining any and all proper actions, suits, proceedings, and prosecutions <br />for the enforcement of the penalty, forfeiture, or liability, as well as for the purpose of sustaining <br />any judgment, decree, or order which can or may be rendered, entered, or made in such actions, <br /> uits, proceedings, or prosecutions. <br /> <br /> ~ection 7. All other ordinances or portions thereof inconsistent or conflicting with this <br />ordinance or any portion hereof are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency or <br />conflict. <br /> <br /> <br />
