Section 2. The Table contained In Subsection A of Section 13.24.030 of the Louisville Municipal Code, entitled "Tap Fee" is amended to read as follows: Year Tap Purchased Amount 1989 $2,163 1990 2,228 1991 2,295 1992 2,364 1993-1996 2,435 1/1/97-10/19/97 2,520 10/20/97-12/31/97 2,720 1998 2,810 1999 2,890 Section 3. Section 13.12.080 of the Louisville Municipal Code entitled "Bulk Water Charges:" is amended to read as follows: Water service not supplied to a specific property location by a standard tap shall be charged as follows: the bulk water user shall pay an annual permit fee of five hundred dollars ($500.00) plus the sum of three dollars fifty cents ($ 3.50) per thousand (1,000) gallons used, or such user may pay on the same basis as those customers served by meter as set forth under this Chapter. In such event, the customer shall request meter service, pay a proper deposit for the meter, and also pay to the City the cost of setting the meter. Section 4. The increases in tap fees and bulk water charges contained in Sections 1, 2 and 3 of this Ordinance shall take effect upon the effective date of this ordinance pursuant to C.R.S.31-16-105. Section 5. If any portion of this ordinance is held to be invalid for any reason, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance. The City Council hereby declares that it would have passed this ordinance and each part hereof irrespective of the fact that any one part be declared invalid. Section 6. The repeal or modification of any provision of the Municipal Code of the City of Louisville by this ordinance shall not release, extinguish, alter, modify, or change in whole or in part any penalty, forfeiture, or liability, either civil or criminal, which shall have been incurred under such provision, and each provision shall be treated and held as still remaining in force for the purpose of sustaining any and all proper actions, suits, proceedings, and prosecutions for the enforcement of the penalty, forfeiture, or liability, as well as for the purpose of sustaining any judgment, decree, or order which can or may be rendered, entered, or made in such actions, uits, proceedings, or prosecutions. ~ection 7. All other ordinances or portions thereof inconsistent or conflicting with this ordinance or any portion hereof are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency or conflict.
