Distribution of 2021 Open Government & Ethics Pamphlet: All LHC <br />members received copies of the Open Government & Ethics Pamphlet <br />Vill. Approval of 2021 Meeting Dates & Location: The Commission approved, <br />vote 7 to 0 <br />IX. Review of Museum's Work Plan for 2021: The Commission discussed the <br />Museum's work plan, looking at the phased reopening for the Museum, <br />completing the deficiencies on the Museum's campus from the 2017 Historic <br />Structure Assessment (HSA), and continuing work on the Trott -Downer Cabins. <br />X. Updates on Museum — Bridget and Sharon: <br />A. Relocation of ash pit: It is hoped that Public works will be able to <br />pour a concrete pad for the ash pit sometime in April. The funding for <br />reconstructing it will be paid by the Foundation <br />B. Budget updates: Sharon reported there is funding in this year's <br />budget to fix HVAC issues in the building on the Museum's campus <br />and do exterior painting. Some funds from last year are being carried <br />over to work on HSA issues, and there have been discussions on the <br />use of the Historic Preservation Tax funds for the Museum. <br />C. Museum buildings and campus: Bridget reported that an alarm on <br />the security system on the campus was going off, so she arranged for <br />the security company to come out and replace some motion sensors. <br />XI. Report from Sharon Nemechek, Director of Library & Museum <br />Services: The Library just opened up for Grab & Go book checkout, and the <br />City Council voted to create an EDI Task force <br />XII. Report from Bridget Bacon, Museum Coordinator: <br />A. In addition to her written report, Bridget reported that the Museum <br />staff is planning programming for 2021. She stated that for the <br />foreseeable future, the staff is planning virtual programs and outdoor <br />programs where social distancing is possible. One project is for <br />residents to take pictures of areas in Louisville and donate them to <br />the Museum on certain days in May. Also, there are two live webinars <br />are planned. <br />B. Updates on Museum operations: The County is at Level Orange at <br />the moment and the Museum is open for tours by appointment. <br />C. Approval of Deeds of Gifts from donors: The Commission voted 7 <br />to 0 to accept the following donations for the Museum: <br />1.
