map of the City and bounded on the north by South Street; on the south by the south line of the Town of Louisville Subdivision and south line of the Pine Street Plaza Subdivision; on the west by the alley between Main Street and LaFarge Avenue; and on the east by the south and west boundary of East Louisville Subdivision and the east line of Colorado State Highway 42; and (2) that certain Commercial Business (C-B) zone district set forth on the official zoning district map of the City and bounded on the north by the south line of the Town of Louisville Subdivision; on the south by the north line of the Mansour-Engel Subdivision; on the west by the right-of-way for County Road/Front Street; and on the east by the Burlington Northem Santa Fe Railroad Tracks. Section 2. Section 17.20.010.C of the Louisville Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows (words to be added are underlined; words to be deleted are ~): 17.20.010 Parking Requirements. C. Where square feet are specified, the area measured shall be the floor area primary to the functioning of the particular use of property and shall exclude stairwells; elevator shafts; hallways; ornamental balconies; space occupied by heating, air conditioning or other utility equipment; space devoted exclusively to storage; and space devoted to off-street parking or loading. This subsection C shall not apply to development subject to the City of Louisville Commercial Development Design Standards and Guidelines. Section 3. Section 17.20.010.E of the Louisville Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows (words to be added are underlined; words to be deleted are ~): 17.20.010 Parking Requirements. E. Uses in the area designated as Downtown Louisville ~ ~ shall be exempt from the requirements of this S_section and Section 17.20.020. Section 4. Chapter 17.20 of the Louisville Municipal Code is hereby amended by the addition of a new Section 17.20.025, to read as follows: 17.20.025 Parking standards designated for Downtown Louisville. A. At the time of the erection of any new structure and at the time of enlargement of any existing structure within Downtown Louisville, off-street parking spaces shall be provided at a ratio of one parking space per 400 square feet of floor area of such new or expanded structure, rounded to nearest 400 square feet. B. The area measured for purposes of this Section shall include all floor area as defined in Section 17.08.165. 2
