Louisville Revitalization Commission
Work Plan
Project Areas & Actions
Owner
Timeframe
Funding
I Priority
for grant funding in 2021. Staff has also explored improving the existing patios by adding
canopy systems, which might make the patios more usable at different times during the day.
e. Explore Year -Round Festive Lighting
Pierce
MT
$$$
MEDIUM
(e.g. over the street, alleys)
Notes:
Advancing any project in this area likely requires outcomes from the City's Downtown
Streetlight Study (currently interviewing/selecting consultants).
f. Fund Study to Determine Electric
LRC/Pierce
MT
$$
MEDIUM
Vehicle Charging Station Locations
Notes:
The Transportation Master Plan (TMP) sets goals for increasing the number of EV charging
stations, but otherwise the City does not have a comprehensive plan or target for this type of
item. If the LRC is still interested in pursuing such a project, it may make sense to consider if it
should be a city-wide evaluation, shared by City and LRC. There are also grant opportunities
for the charging stations themselves, but major cost drivers can be the availability of
infrastructure for the stations.
g. Evaluate Needs for Street Furniture
Pierce
LT
$$$
LOW
and Fixtures to Enhance Pedestrian
& Visitor Experience (benches,
trash/recycling bins, bollards, street
trees, etc.)
Notes:
If this becomes priority for LRC, staff will need to explore the City's existing plans and
specifications for furniture and fixtures.
h.
