C1ty��f <br />Louisville <br />COLORADO • SINCE 1878 <br />Recreation Advisory Board <br />Zoom Meeting Minutes <br />March 22, 2021 <br />6:30 PM <br />Call to Order — Chairperson Norgard called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM. <br />Roll Call was taken. The following members were present: <br />Board Members Present: Gene Kutscher, Angie Layton, Brett Nickerson, <br />Lisa Norgard, Mary O'Brien, Michele Van Pelt <br />Board Members Absent: Audrey Debarros, Dick Friedson, Patrick Haines <br />Staff Members Present: Paul Borth, David Dean, Kathy Martin, Nathan <br />Mosley <br />Guests Present: None <br />Public Members Present: Eric Lyders <br />Approval of Agenda — The agenda was approved unanimously. <br />Motion: Gene Kutscher <br />Second: Brett Nickerson <br />Approval of Meeting Minutes — The minutes from the February 22 meeting <br />were approved unanimously. <br />Motion: Brett Nickerson <br />Second: Michele Van Pelt <br />Public Comments <br />Eric Lyders attended the meeting to talk about the possibility of adding an <br />indoor archery range in the turf gym. He believes that that this new activity <br />could encourage additional people to attend the rec center. Eric said that <br />there may be grant possibilities to help with purchasing equipment. <br />Kathy Martin said that an outdoor archery range had once been a <br />possibility in the open area south of the rec center. In our current time of <br />COVID restrictions, the turf gym is very busy.
