<br />Planning Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />May 8, 2008 <br />Page 7 of 8 <br /> <br />Goodman stated the limitation would probably be measured from hitch to bumper. <br /> <br />Sheets asked what the typical length of a driveway is. <br /> <br />Tengler stated it would probably be 20+' in most areas, which would allow for the length <br />of most cars. <br /> <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />Sheets moved and Loa seconded a motion to recommend approval of Resolution No. <br />09, Series 2008 with the following corrections: <br />1) Sec. 17.20.160 C - a number reference should also include the word and <br />numeric number - example: six (6). Staff should check the entire document for <br />those corrections. <br />2) Sec. 10.20.050 - the word "more" is missing between the words... "vehicle for no <br />more than fourteen (14) nights." <br />3) Include the 32' length limit, bumper to bumper (including hitch) <br />4) Remove the screening in rear yard. <br />5) Remove the setback requirement for the rear yard. <br />6) Modify number of car limitation to 3. <br /> <br />Discussion of motion: <br />Loa questioned why the 3 car limitation. <br /> <br />Tengler stated his support for a 3 car limitation. <br /> <br />Lipton stated his support for a two car parking limitation in the front driveway. <br /> <br />Tengler stated he would be okay with a 2 car limitation in the front. <br /> <br />Sheets requested an amendment to the motion to reflect the 2 car limitation. <br /> <br />Loa accepted the amendment. <br /> <br />Lipton requested the screening requirement in the rear yard be eliminated but the rear <br />setback requirement should be maintained. This should apply to recreational vehicles <br />and other motorized vehicles. <br /> <br />Sheets and Loa accepted the suggestions as an amendment to the motion. <br /> <br />Name Vote <br />Jeff Lipton Yes <br />Chris Pritchard EX <br />Susan S.
