GET READY FOR BOCCE!

The Louisville Historical Commission will hold a bocce
tournament to benefit the Historical Museum on
. Sunday, October 7 at Community Park,
Bocce is a family-friendly game that goes far
back in Louisville's history, Settlers from Italy first
brought the game to our town, Louisville's ex-
ceptionally high number of bocce courts for a city of its size is
evidence of the passion that our residents have for the game,
For people who have never played bocce or would like a
reminder of how it is played, free bocce lessons will be given
on Sunday, September 2 as part of the Fall Festival during
Labor Day weekend at Community Park.
