II- 'I RECENT CITY COUNCIL ACTIONS The following is a list of some of the action items taken by the City Council since the last edition of the Community Update. ~Approved Ordinance No. 1527, Series 2007 - Granting a fran- chise agreement to Public Service Company of Colorado; ~Approved Resolution No. 67, Series 2007 - Establishing water, wastewater, and stormwater utility fees for 2008; ~Approved the 2008 City of Louisville grants to local area non-profit organizations; ~Approved a bid award to Churchich Recre- ation for the installation of four solar-powered, remote-controlled score boards for the Sports Complex; ~Approved 2008 funding for the Shop Louisville marketing cam- paIgn; ~Approved Resolution No.5, Series 2008 - Approving a develop- ment building in the Colorado Tech Center; ~Approved Resolution No.6, Series 2008 - Adopting a sustainable energy plan for the City; Mayor appointed City Council members to various Council committee assignments for 2008; City Council elected Sheri Marsella as Mayor Pro tem and appointed Mayor Chuck Sisk to represent the City Council on the Louisville Revitalization Commission; City Council interviewed applicants for and made appoint- ments to the City's various boards and commissions.
