LOUSIVILLE ROCKS

Continued from page 1
With Louisville's designation as the BEST place to raise a family, I relish
the opportunities to partake in our community's many activities. I would
suggest our "Louisville family" extends well beyond our biological family
and truly forms an impenetrable bond for us. When we travel, doesn't it give
you pleasure when someone asks "Where do you live?" and you are respond
proudly "LOUISVILLE, COLORADO." You have yourselves, as members
of our community, to thank for this sense of pride and I can assure you the
ultimate beneficiaries are our young people who leave (and hopefully return)
with an intrinsic sense of community.
To our graduating high school seniors, I commend you and I want you
to know that you make us very proud. To the parents, grandparents, other
relatives, and friends of our graduating seniors, our heartfelt appreciation for
your support, guidance (I know sometimes it was ignored!!), friendship, and
sense of community that was instilled in our hope for the future.
On a personal note, our family has some robust summer's plans, but our
summer starts with a celebration of our daughter, Jennie, who is graduating
from Wellesley College. And you guessed it, her parents, her brothers, and
fact remains that Jennie comes from
Louisville, Colorado and was the beneficiary of living in Louisville from
values of Louisville have served Jennie in an extraordinary fashion
and we thank Louisville for instilling in Jennie these many intrinsic values.

ALLEY HOUSEKEEPING

n esidents whose properties
.Rare adjacent to public alley-
ways are required to keep the alleys
clear of trees, brush, junk, trash, and
debris. According to the Louisville
Municipal Code, residents may not
store any of these items within the
alley right-of-way.
Junk and landscape debris should
Branch
Recycle Site is open the first week-
end of every month this summer
to accept tree branches and other
woody plant material.
Bushes and trees originating on
your property that are growing into
the alleyway should be trimmed back
behind fences and property lines.
Alley rights-of-way need to be
clear to allow safe access for garage
entry, trash collection, utility and
fire trucks, and other emergency
response vehicles.
