I of CityLouisville
COLORADO • SINCE 1878
Louisville Sustainability Advisory Board
Agenda
Meeting Minutes
Virtual Meeting
6:30 - 8:00pm
1. 6:30PM Call to Order
2. Roll Call
Tiffany Boyd, Mark Persichetti, Laura Levesque -Catalano, Dan Mellish, Todd Budin,
Seth Adams, Josh Cooperman, and Katie Baum were present.
3. Approval of Agenda
Laura asked how the appended study on Accelerating Cities' Net Zero Action fits into
the agenda. Katie responded that Megan Davis included this study as background
information for her presentation on CC4CA.
Tiffany moved to approve the agenda, and Todd seconded her motion.
4. Approval of Minutes
Laura noted that a link to information about the City's bag tax within last month's staff
updates did not work. Katie said that she would fix the link.
Dan moved to approve the minutes, and Tiffany seconded his motion.
5. 6:35PM Public Comment
RJ Harrington brought to the Board's attention a new study from the International
Energy Agency in which this Agency recommends the immediate cessation of new
fossil fuel investment. RJ wondered if the City's Sustainability Action Plan is
sufficiently robust to accommodate this study's recommendations or if the City's
Sustainability Action Plan needs revision to accommodate this study's
recommendations? RJ also wondered if City codes or zoning laws need revision for
the City to accommodate this study's recommendations?
Tamar Krantz urged that LSAB members attend the Planning Commission meeting of
20 May to voice concerns about issues of sustainability in the Redtail Ridge
City Manager's Office
City of Louisville
749 Main Street Louisville CO 80027
303.335.4533 (phone) www.louisvilleco.gov
