On May <br />15, the RFP was sent to 13 Executive Search Firms, was posted on the City's website, <br />and was posted to BidNet. <br />The City received ten proposals from the following Executive Search Firms: <br />• Baker Tilly <br />• CPS HR <br />• Frederick Andrews <br />• Gov HR <br />• Grayson HR <br />• Koff & Associates <br />• KRW Associates <br />• Public Advisory Group <br />• The Novak Consulting Group <br />• Slavin Management Consultants <br />Mayor Pro Tern Maloney, Councilmember Fahey, Human Resources Acting Director <br />Robin Brookhart, and City Clerk Meredyth Muth reviewed and discussed the proposals <br />including costs, guarantees, and other factors in each of the proposals. Among the <br />factors the group considered were: <br />• Tools to be used for the search <br />• Communications plan <br />• Expected timelines <br />• Reputation of firm <br />• Experience with and familiarity with Louisville, cities of comparable size and <br />Colorado <br />• Ability to attract a diverse pool of candidates <br />Each firm charges fees in a slightly different fashion but in the end, the overall total <br />costs (without additional work outside the scope of the project) varied from a low of <br />$20,000 to a high of $60,000.
