II: City,/ <br />Om Louisville <br />COLORADO • SINCE 1882 <br />Historic Preservation Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />May 17, 2021 <br />Virtual Meeting <br />6:30 PM <br />Chair Haley called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm. <br />Roll Call was taken and the following members were present: <br />Commission Members Present: <br />Chair Lynda Haley <br />Gary Dunlap <br />Keith Keller <br />Christine Burg <br />Commission Members Absent: Andrea Klemme <br />Staff Members Present: <br />Rob Zuccaro, Planning Director <br />Kim Bauer, Preservation Planner <br />Amelia Brackett Hogstad, Planning Clerk <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Dunlap made a motion to approve the May 17, 2021 agenda. Seconded by Burg. The agenda <br />was approved unanimously by voice vote. <br />APPROVAL OF MEETING MINUTES <br />Burg made a motion to approve the April 19, 2021 minutes. Seconded by Keller. The minutes <br />were approved unanimously as written by voice vote. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON AGENDA <br />None. <br />NEW BUSINESS — PUBLIC HEARING ITEMS <br />612 Grant Avenue Probable Cause Determination: A request to find probable cause to allow <br />for funding of a historic structure assessment for 612 Grant Avenue. <br />• Applicant: Andy Johnson, DAJ Design <br />• Owners: Rand Singleton and Andrea Maciejewski <br />• Staff: Kim Bauer <br />Bauer described the probable cause request, stating that it had been landmarked in 2012, but <br />was going applying for an assessment to start the funding process. She stated that the property <br />met the age requirement, had architectural significance, and maintained structural integrity. It <br />exemplified cultural ties through the Hibler and Di Francia families and was tied to the history of <br />coal mining through the local miners from the Acme Mine who had rented rooms there.
