2022 Licensing Authority
LLcty. ,
Loiuisville
COLORADO • SINCE 1878
4. What do you think are the issues or impacts, if any, related to liquor and marijuana in Louisville?
Currently. we are working to implement a new festival license. If done correctly, this new
license will give the City the ability to offer. new events. at the various liquor licenses. We
have also watched the grow of the marijuana industry in a productive and. measured way.
These issues are exciting to work on and our important to our community.
5. What qualifications, skill sets, and relevant experiences do you have that would be beneficial for this
position?
I am an attorney and practice in this area. In addition, when I worked for the City & County
of Denver I conducted performance audits of the Denver LLA. I ran a trade association for
craft brewers for twenty years and keep aware of regulatory changes at the state and local
level. I feel my experience is helpful to the LLA.
6. APPLYING FOR REAPPOINTMENT ONLY: Should you be reappointed, what would you like to see
the LLA accomplish in your next term?
I would like us to continue to develop the new festival permit and determine the best
course of action when it comes to server training and special event permits. We need to
strike a good balance between compliance and being open to events that can contribute
to the overall community. Additionally, we look for ways to be helpful to current and new
business interests in the City.
I very exciting work!
Submit this questionnaire with your general application form by email to
MeredythM(OLouisvilleCO.gov or deliver it to City Hall, 749 Main Street.
