City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />October 19, 2021 <br />Page 9 of 11 <br />Councilmember Dickinson stated there are ways that the school may use this property, <br />such as storage, parking, equipment of what could be done here, but it hasn't been used <br />for decades. It's been the homeowner's property for a long time and it would be difficult to <br />take this property. <br />Mayor Pro Tern Maloney stated he was in favor of the vacation. <br />Mayor Stolzmann closed the public hearing. <br />Motion: Councilmember Lipton moved to approve Ordinance No. 1817; seconded by <br />Mayor Pro Tern Maloney. <br />Vote The motion passed 6-1 with Councilmember Brown voting no. <br />REVISED RECOMMENDED BUDGET FOR 2022, INCLUDING UPDATED CAPITAL <br />IMPROVEMENTS PLAN FOR 2021-2026 & UPDATED LONG-TERM FINANCIAL PLAN <br />FOR 2021-2026 — PUBLIC HEARING (advertised Daily Camera 10/10/21) <br />Mayor Stolzmann introduced the item and opened the public hearing. <br />Interim City Manager Davis presented the revised budget for 2022. <br />Finance Director Watson stated this is the fourth meeting regarding the budget and he <br />believes that this has captured all of Council's input from the previous meetings. <br />Public Comments - None <br />Mayor Stolzmann noted a couple of items are not included in this but there is a plan to <br />add this with a later budget amendment: Dark Skies incentive, COVID-19 employee <br />premium pay, and retention strategies, as well as EDI projects such as banners for light <br />poles. <br />Mayor Stolzmann closed the public hearing. <br />LOCAL LICENSING AUTHORITY FESTIVAL PERMITS <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1818, SERIES 2021 — AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 5.08 <br />OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE TO AUTHORIZE THE LOCAL LICENSING <br />AUTHORITY TO ISSUE FESTIVAL PERMITS AND TO UPDATE STATUTORY <br />REFERENCES IN THE CHAPTER — 2nd READING, PUBLIC HEARING (advertised <br />Daily Camera 10/10/21) <br />RESOLUTION NO. 73, SERIES 2021 — A RESOLUTION APPROVING A FESTIVAL <br />PERMIT FEE <br />
