Davidson Mesa Open Space Trail Resurfacing Capital Improvement Project (the "project"), and <br />if the grant is finally awarded, the City Council supports project completion and long-term <br />maintenance of the improvements following project completion. <br />Section 2 The City Council hereby accepts the Conditional Award of the Trails <br />Maintenance Grant in the 2021 Non -Motorized Grant Cycle in the amount of $250,000. <br />Section 3. The City Council verifies that the property targeted for the project, the <br />Davidson Mesa Open Space, is zoned as Open Space in the City of Louisville and will be under <br />the control of the City for at least the next 25 years. <br />Section 4. The City Council represents and warrants that the Grant Application <br />includes matching funds for which the City is solely responsible to provide, and that the City has <br />appropriated or will appropriate such matching funds if the grant is finally awarded. <br />Section 5. The Mayor, City Manager, City Clerk, and City staff are hereby <br />authorized and directed to execute all documents and do all other things necessary on behalf of <br />the City to complete, execute, and submit the Grant Application, and to accept the final grant <br />award. <br />Section 6. All action heretofore taken in furtherance of the purposes of the Grant <br />Application are hereby ratified and confirmed. <br />Section 7.
