Planning Commission
Meeting Minutes
November 11, 2021
Diehl stated that this was a nice upgrade and he appreciated the detail in the
presentation and the additional screening.
Commissioner Hoefner, Howe, Moline, and Williams agreed, as did Chair Brauneis.
Hoefner moved to approve Resolution 15, Series 2021 and Diehl seconded. Motion
passed unanimously by roll call vote.
COMMISSIONER COMMENTS
Williams shared that she would not be returning to serve on the Commission in 2022.
She shared her experience on the Commission and other municipal bodies.
The other commissioners and Interim Director Ritchie thanked her for her service.
Howe asked that staff would consider arranging a tour of the grounds for the Redtail
proposal if it were to require additional deliberations, acknowledging that he did not
know what might happen for the project in the future.
STAFF COMMENTS
Ritchie shared that there were a few applications waiting in the wings that might be
ready in December. She shared general updates and stated that the referendum on
Redtail did gather enough signatures and would be back before Council for
reconsideration and she described the process for that project.
Diehl asked about the language of the Redtail petition.
Ritchie stated that it was not conditional and its intent was to overturn the approval of
the ordinance. The ballot language was not yet developed.
ITEMS TENTATIVELY SCHEDULED FOR THE MEETING ON DECEMBER 9, 2021
• North End Block 11 PUD Amendment and Replat
ADJOURN
Brauneis voiced a motion to adjourn. Meeting adjourned at approximately 9 PM.
