45. <br /> <br />46. <br /> <br />47. <br /> <br />48. <br /> <br />49. <br /> <br />50. <br /> <br />51. <br /> <br />52. <br /> <br />54. <br /> <br />55. <br /> <br />Section 911 is deleted in its entirety. <br /> <br />Section 913.2 is amended by addition of a new final sentence to <br />read as follows: "A foot vent with a cleanout shall be installed <br />immediately above the junction of the island fixture vent and <br />drain." <br /> <br />Section 916.1 is amended by the deletion of "Table 916.1" and the <br />insertion of "Table 710.1 (1)". <br /> <br />Table 916.1 is deleted in its entirety. <br /> <br />Section 917 is deleted in its entirety. <br /> <br />Section 1003.2 is amended by addition of a new final to read as <br />follows: "The design and location of interceptors shall be <br />approved by the Chief Building Official and shall have adequate <br />number of manholes with gastight covers with a minimum <br />opening dimension of twenty (20) inches. Each interceptor shall <br />be installed and connected so that it is at all times easily <br />accessible for inspection, cleaning, and removal of the intercepted <br />grease." <br /> <br />Section 1003.5 is amended by addition of the following at the <br />bottom of such section: <br /> <br />The size of grease interceptors shall be determined by using the <br />following formula: (Number of meals served per peak hour) x <br />(Waste flow ratei) x (Retention Factor2) x (Storage Factor3) = <br />Interceptor Size/Liquid Capacity. <br /> <br />1. Waste Flow Rate <br /> a. With dishwashing machine ........................ 6 gallon flow <br /> b. Without dishwashing machine ............... 5 gallon flow <br /> c. Single service kitchen ...........................2 gallon flow <br /> d. Food waste disposer .................................... <br />2. Retention Times <br /> a. Commercial kitchen waster / Dishwasher .......... 2.5 hours <br /> b. Single service kitchen / Single serving ........... 1.5 hours <br /> <br />1 gallon flow <br /> <br /> <br />
