Public comment from Carlos Hernandez, CJH Planning. Mr. Hernandez introduced himself as the potential applicant under contract on the site and described the proposed vision for the site. He confirmed that the vision does include workforce housing and commented that there may not be an option to move forward without assistance from the City. Interim City Manager Zuccaro advised that the EVC not engage in a discussion regarding a potential land use application. He clarified that a broad discussion about a specific property would be appropriate. Chair Dickinson asked for support in recommending this property as the number one priority for Council action. Councilmember Most agreed that this should be a high priority discussion and clarified that it is important for workforce housing to be integrated into the broader community. Councilmember Fahey agreed that providing this type of housing is importance and supported the idea of Council action on this property. VIII. Discussion- Economic Vitality Strategic Plan: Chair Dickinson requested that this item be continued to the next meeting. IX. Staff Updates: Chair Dickinson commented on the downtown holiday lighting and that he had received positive feedback from the business community. X. Recent Articles: No comments. XI. Next Meeting: The next meeting will be December 17, 2021 @ 1:30 PM. Director Pierce confirmed that outreach to the business community will be included as a discussion item for the next meeting. Public comment from Mike Kranzdorf. Mr. Kranzdorf commented that the City could implement an improved web presence and social media as a form of business community outreach. XII.
