Participate in business -related City meetings and events, such as the <br />monthly Economic Vitality Committee meetings and annual Business <br />Forum. <br />Promote and advertise educational resources, workshops, and <br />webinars through Chamber communication channels on behalf of the <br />City of Louisville and other partner organizations such as: Workforce <br />Boulder County, Commuting Solutions, Boulder County Public <br />Health, Partners for a Clean Environment (PACE), the Green <br />Business Program, Boulder Chamber/Boulder Economic Council, <br />and Boulder Small Business Development Center. <br />Develop new programs and promotions to benefit businesses <br />located within the Colorado Technology Center (CTC)—raising <br />awareness of these primary employers, as well as their products and <br />services. <br />• Assist the City in any business survey activities such as the bi-annual <br />Business Satisfaction Survey. <br />2. If the Chamber discovers that any of the activities outlined will not be <br />completed in each fiscal year for any reason, the Chamber shall provide <br />the City with prompt written notice, in no event later than 30 days in <br />advance of the end of the then -current fiscal year, which must include a <br />detailed description of the reasons for non-performance and a description <br />of what activities will be provided instead. <br />3. Annually, the Chamber of Commerce will submit a report of activities to <br />the City —outlining the significant events that were held as well as number <br />of business engaged during the prior year. The Chamber should also <br />share its current membership as well as any new member prospects. The <br />annual report should be submitted no later than October 1 each year. <br />4. To secure City funding for the following year, the Chamber of Commerce <br />must make an annual funding request. This request should be made no <br />later than May 1 each year. For any increased funding request, the <br />Chamber should describe any new activities that will be undertaken with <br />proposed funds. Nothing in this Agreement is intended or shall be <br />construed as a financial commitment of the City to provide the Chamber <br />with funding in the fiscal year 2022 or any future fiscal year. The City <br />Council retains full discretion to decide the level of funding to be provided <br />to the Chamber, if any, in any fiscal year this Agreement is in effect. <br />Unless otherwise agreed upon by the parties in writing, the Chamber shall <br />have no obligation to provide services to benefit the Louisville business <br />community in fiscal years where no funding is provided to the Chamber by <br />the City. <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />
