� itiyf <br />L6 Lcouisville <br />COLORADO • SINCE 1878 <br />City Council <br />Study Session Summary <br />January 13, 2022 <br />Electronic Meeting <br />9:30 AM <br />Mayor Stolzmann called the meeting to order at 9:30 am <br />City Council Present: Mayor Ashley Stolzmann <br />Mayor Pro Tern Dennis Maloney <br />Councilmember Kyle Brown <br />Councilmember Deb Fahey <br />Councilmember Chris Leh <br />Councilmember Maxine Most <br />Absent: Councilmember J. Caleb Dickinson <br />Staff Present: Jeff Durbin, City Manager <br />Meredyth Muth, City Clerk <br />Mayor Stolzmann noted these will be regular study sessions to keep the Council <br />updated on the fire recovery. The Council will not take action on any items at these <br />study sessions. <br />City Manager Durbin gave an update on fire recovery. <br />• Perimeter fencing work continues, it is proving difficult to get it done quickly, but <br />staff is pushing on that. <br />• Getting a lot of research requests from universities; working with the CU Natural <br />Hazard's Center to coordinate those data requests. <br />• Meeting with candidates for the recovery manager position; hope to have one <br />hired soon. <br />• The assistant director of NOAA was in town yesterday to speak to some of his <br />employees who lost homes. NOAA will be using its air quality van in the area <br />working with Boulder County Public Health on air quality issues. <br />• Infrastructure assessments are ongoing; this includes looking at underground <br />damage we haven't identified yet, especially in the water system. <br />• Public Works is meeting today will residents who still don't have water to answer <br />their questions. <br />• Staff is beginning work on 2022 CIP projects. <br />City of Louisville <br />City Council 749 Main Street Louisville CO 80027 <br />303.335.4536 (phone) 303.335.4550 (fax) www.LouisvilleCO.gov <br />
