City Council Present: Mayor Ashley Stolzmann Mayor Pro Tern Dennis Maloney Councilmember Kyle Brown Councilmember J. Caleb Dickinson Councilmember Deb Fahey Councilmember Chris Leh Councilmember Maxine Most Staff Present: Jeff Durbin, City Manager Meredyth Muth, City Clerk City Manager Durbin gave an update on fire recovery. • The state will be matching the local share requirement for the FEMA reimbursement; they will cover one-half of the local match; 12.5% of the total • FEMA is moving into its case management process whereby they deal with each home owner individually • Infrastructure damage assessment is ongoing • Most of those homes still without water should get service by Sunday. There are a few outlier that won't get water until Tuesday or Wednesday. • Routine issues are being addressed again • Staff is working on how to replace street lights, they belong to Xcel but the City has pay for replacement; We are hoping it will be covered by FEMA and Xcel is looking into if their insurance would cover it • Planning & Building is working on staffing up for the expected influx of new permits; we will need to address space and IT issues for new staff • Facilities and IT are evaluating generators and redundancies for future emergencies • The Library not charging late fees now and there will be no charges to patrons who lost materials in the fire • Vaccine clinic at Recreation Center today • Call center hours will move to a 9 am — 3 pm schedule starting next week; it will be open MILK day City of Louisville City Council 749 Main Street Louisville CO 80027 303.335.4536 (phone) 303.335.4550 (fax) www.LouisvilleCO.gov
