City Council Present: Mayor Ashley Stolzmann Mayor Pro Tern Dennis Maloney Councilmember Kyle Brown Councilmember J. Caleb Dickinson Councilmember Deb Fahey Councilmember Chris Leh Councilmember Maxine Most Staff Present: Jeff Durbin, City Manager Meredyth Muth, City Clerk City Manager Durbin gave an update on fire recovery. • Staff received the engineering report on the damaged retaining walls and has reviewed them. There is no immediate risk so we have time to address them. • Rec Center is putting together a proposal on how to help fire impacted families with workout facilities and providing space for mental health meetings and space for neighborhood meetings. • County DAC will be closing at the end of the day on Saturday; the FEMA and SBA side will remain open a few more weeks. • Looking at options for how long to continue to use Ascent Church for placard distribution. • Most City facilities did close early yesterday due to icy conditions. • OEM call center is winding down tomorrow, we are evaluating what that means for our call center. • Boulder Community Foundation gave funding to the Jewish Community Center to coordinate mental health services for fire victims. • Golf Course clubhouse is back open. • Planning/Building, Public Works, and Parks/Open Space are working on issues related to staging for reconstruction as we are expecting requests to use public property for staging for private construction. Staff will likely bring forward some suggested policy changes for Council to consider around this.
