City Council
Study Session Summary
February 8, 2022
event. Councilmember Brown stated it is a good chance for neighbors to get more
information on how to rebuild in a coordinated manner.
Councilmember Fahey asked if Boulder County may extend the deadline to opt in to the
public debris removal process. City Manager Durbin stated staff is reaching out to the
County to understand if there will be options to back out at a later date.
Councilmember Fahey stated the Enclave neighborhood was working on a community
watch program before the fire. The Police Department will have some information on
that and it may be useful for the neighborhood meetings the Planning Department is
working on.
Councilmember Leh stated we need to make sure the County procurement process for
the debris contract is done so all FEMA requirements are met.
Mayor Stolzmann left the meeting at 10 am.
Councilmember Dickinson stated he would like more information about how much
FEMA is going to cover for debris removal so we know what the impacts will be if they
don't fund it to the level we want. He would also like information on how much private
debris removal is costing so we can compare to what the County is paying.
Adjourned 10:08 am.
Submitted 218122 Meredyth Muth
