City Council <br />Study Session Summary <br />February 10, 2022 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />Mayor Stolzmann stated that FEMA administrator Creswell made it clear that the <br />phasing of the approvals impact the process. <br />Mayor Pro Tern Maloney asked what are the items for which we are still waiting for <br />approval on from FEMA. City Manager Durbin stated we are waiting for approval on the <br />request to include foundations, driveways, and sidewalks in the funding and the request <br />for 100% funding. <br />• Hudromulching is underway and expected to be complete in 15 days, This <br />application is meant to stabilize the sites through the end of the year. We will <br />need to establish a deadline for private property owners who opted out of the <br />group debris removal process so can be sure debris won't site on sites <br />indefinitely. <br />• Some private demolition removal is now underway. <br />• Some of the new security fencing has come down in the wind. They are <br />reevaluating how it is installed. <br />• Boulder County Public Health is meeting 2/14 to consider lifting the mask <br />mandate. <br />Councilmember Leh asked if people can people opt back out of the debris removal if <br />they want to. City Manager Durbin stated staff is working on clarification on that. <br />Councilmember Dickinson asked if there is a sense of how many air monitors are needs <br />to get the best information. Do we need one on every block or one in every <br />neighborhood? City Manager Durbin stated we don't know. <br />Adjourned 9.53 am. <br />Submitted 2110122 Meredyth Muth <br />
