City Council Present: Councilmember Kyle Brown Councilmember J. Caleb Dickinson Councilmember Deb Fahey Councilmember Chris Leh Councilmember Maxine Most Absent: Mayor Ashley Stolzmann Mayor Pro Tern Dennis Maloney Staff Present: Jeff Durbin, City Manager Meredyth Muth, City Clerk City Manager Durbin gave an update on fire recovery. • BCPH met yesterday will be lifting mask mandate on Friday, February 18 at 5 pm. Transmission rates are still very high so we are still being cautious so as to be able to continue operations. • Planning now has a contract with Clarion consulting firm for a program to facilitate conversations among neighbors as to what reconstruction options might look like and how the City can help. Superior has the same process undeway. Thus program was funded with a DOLA grant. • Planning staff and Clarion is hosting a meeting next week for those who lost homes and following that first meeting there will be more specific neighborhood meetings. • Demolition permit applications: have received about 30 applications; 14 have been issued for destroyed homes and 4 for damaged homes. • We are coordinating with Superior on hiring a site supervisor to help over see the needs in the building areas such as parking, access, security, and erosion control. This position will work so there are no conflicts between contractors and helping to maintain safe job sites moving forward. We hope to get DOLA funding for this position as well. • Right -of -Entry form deadline was extended to February 18. The County is working through the contract for Private Property Debris Removal.
