Subcommittee Best Practices <br />Todd - Bring in citizen members to scale and lend credibility. LSAB member <br />needs to be accountable for actions. Discussion on accountability. <br />Make sub -committee diverse and identify conflict of interest and call it out. <br />Tiffany- can we advertise (newsletter) that we're looking for citizen members? <br />Katie- send needs to specific people vs broad via newsletter <br />B. Subcommittee Updates (3-minute updates) <br />Commercial (Seth and Mark) <br />Difficult to get information. Will get consumption spreadsheet from Todd. Meet <br />with PACE- what they do and how they deal with businesses, outreach. Only 2 <br />cover the county. Get group to help. Educate on rebates. Mark -use PACE as a <br />vehicle for gathering info on businesses. <br />Todd- great programming but obstacle to get our commercial customers to take <br />advantage of them. Can we pre -identify accounts that are candidates for an <br />audit? Knock on doors to ask if interested in a free audit? Josh- reach out to <br />subcommittee for economic vitality commission? Todd — keep them informed but <br />they have a lot on their plate. They have a great newsletter, could add to it. <br />Transportation (Dan and Tiffany) <br />Todd- can we get registration for EV data in Louisville? <br />RJ- This tool allows one to drill down to the zip code level <br />https://energyoffice.colorado.gov/zero-emission-vehicles/evs-in-colorado- <br />dashboard <br />Josh- council work plan lists LRC projects -pedestrians. Also, incentive for zero <br />vehicle households? TMP- need to revisit prioritization of projects -low hanging <br />fruit. Laura- promote cycling. Majority of trips in Louisville are <3 miles. Event in <br />the spring that highlights activities that can be done on bike vs car. <br />Residential (Todd and Josh) <br />1. Improve energy efficiency and progress decarbonization within single & multi- <br />family buildings. (committee) <br />a. Develop a plan to eliminate gas powered lawn equipment from Louisville <br />by 2024 <br />b. Increase Louisville resident usage of Xcel and EnergySmart incentives by <br />10x <br />i. Develop segmented socio-economic engagement strategies <br />c. Build and/or support the build of a city-wide draft decarbonization plan <br />with financials, schedule, options and funding ideas. <br />Todd- help streamline audits for citizens. Laura — run risk of promoting <br />companies. <br />Katie — we have budget for a buy down campaign. Could go thru Xcel via their <br />channels.
