City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />December 21, 2021 <br />Page 7 of 12 <br />PARKING SPACES, INSTALLATION OF NEW SIGNAGE, EXTERIOR <br />ARCHITECTURAL CHANGES, AND EXPANDED DRIVE-THRU INFRASTRUCTURE <br />(939 DILLON ROAD) <br />Mayor Stolzmann introduced the item and called for disclosures; seeing none she opened <br />the public hearing. <br />Planner Ellie Hassan reviewed the history of the site and noted this is a request for drive- <br />thru improvements, reconfiguring some pedestrian connections, new signage, and <br />building fagade changes. The applicant is asking for waivers for signage, landscaping and <br />a parking space reduction. Staff supports all of the waivers; the landscaping changes help <br />with screening and the parking changes are would not impact the parking of the site. <br />Hassan stated the application meets all code requirements with the waivers and staff <br />recommends approval. <br />Robert Palmer, applicant representative, stated the changes are needed to keep the drive <br />thru from backing up into traffic and they create efficiencies. The exterior finish changes <br />are to maintain the building and keep it from looking dated. <br />Public Comments - None <br />Mayor Stolzmann stated she supports the resolution as it creates efficiencies and <br />eliminates unnecessary lighting. It complies with the CDDSG. Mayor Pro Tern Maloney <br />agreed. <br />MOTION: Councilmember Brown made a motion to approve Resolution No. 93; seconded <br />by Mayor Pro Tern Maloney. <br />Councilmember Brown stated he feels the application meets the requirements and the <br />waivers are justified. <br />Mayor Stolzmann closed the public hearing. <br />VOTE: Motion passed by unanimous roll call vote. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1820, SERIES 2021 — AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLES 4 AND <br />14 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING REGULATION OF CITY <br />OPEN SPACE AND PARKS — 2nd READING, PUBLIC HEARING (advertised Daily <br />Camera 12/12/21) <br />Mayor Stolzmann introduced the item and opened the public hearing. She noted Council <br />asked staff to bring this forward to address confusion regarding sledding in certain areas. <br />
