City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />January 4, 2022 <br />Page 6 of 8 <br />Councilmember Leh stated we don't have all the answers, we don't even know all the <br />questions. If people have questions they should call us and let us know what they need. <br />Please don't assume we know what you need right now. <br />Councilmember Fahey noted none of us have experience with something like this so <br />please be patient and please pass on any information you have to your neighbors who <br />might need it. <br />Councilmember Dickinson thanked Mayor Stolzmann for her efforts and work over these <br />past few days. He reminded everyone to take care of themselves during these hard times. <br />City Manager Durbin stated staff is working on a plan for safe reentry in the hard closure <br />areas. It will include some safety guidelines; people must get a placard to be allowed <br />entry. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6, SERIES 2022 — A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE <br />CONTINUATION OF THE DECLARATION OF LOCAL DISASTER EMERGENCY IN <br />AND FOR THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE FOR THE MARSHALL FIRE <br />City Manager Durbin stated this is the formal declaration of emergency for the event; it <br />continues the one put in place by the mayor on December 30t". It allows the City to put in <br />place emergency procedures and also opens the way for the City to apply for <br />reimbursement from State and Federal sources. <br />Public Comments <br />RJ Harrington, 457 East Raintree Court, stated he supports this resolution. <br />John Mihaly, 1018 Arapahoe Circle, stated the toxic ash left by the fire is significant and <br />needs to be addressed before contamination gets worse. <br />MOTION: Mayor Pro Tern Maloney moved to approve Resolution No. 6; seconded by <br />Councilmember Most. <br />VOTE: Motion passed by unanimous voice vote. <br />MOTION: Mayor Stolzmann moved to table all additional items on the agenda; Mayor Pro <br />Tern Maloney seconded the motion. <br />VOTE: Motion passed by unanimous voice vote. <br />Full public notice will be completed again when these items are brought back for Council <br />consideration at a later date. <br />841 JEFFERSON HISTORIC LANDMARKING AND PRESERVATION GRANT <br />
