Project Close -Out: <br />Economic Vitality Director Pierce said the LRC had executed an agreement with <br />824 South Inc. for redevelopment; the project is now complete and has received <br />construction acceptance from the City. The project reimbursement is slightly <br />under the $295,000 cap provided in the agreement. The building is currently <br />being considered by a tenant that would use it for corporate and special events. <br />• Election of Officers: <br />There was a discussion of whether election of officers should take place due to <br />Commissioner Tofte not being in attendance. City Attorney Cotton -Baez said <br />that with a formal motion, the LRC can delay a vote of officers. The LRC can <br />temporarily appoint secretary for today's meeting. <br />Commissioner Smith made a motion to delay election of officers until the next <br />meeting. Councilmember Leh seconded. Roll call vote: <br />Commissioner Smith - yes <br />Councilmember Leh - yes <br />Chair Adler - yes <br />Commissioner Williams — yes <br />Motion passes. <br />Chair Adler made a motion to appoint Commissioner Williams as temporary <br />secretary for today's meeting. Commissioner Smith seconded. <br />Roll call vote: <br />Chair Adler - yes <br />Commissioner Smith - yes <br />Commissioner Williams — yes <br />Councilmember Leh - yes <br />Motion passes. <br />• Marshall Fire Business Support: <br />Director Pierce discussed business impacts of the Marshall Fire. Two <br />commercial structures were completely destroyed, with seven businesses within <br />Agenda Packet P. 4 <br />
