Executive Director's Report <br />. Meredyth Muth announced the next meetings for Open Government Training <br />and reminded members they need to attend the training once every two years. <br />. 2010 capital project requests for the Historical Museum were reviewed. She <br />noted that City revenue is falling based on reduced sales taxes. <br /> <br />X. Museum Director's Report <br />. Deeds of Gifts - The Commission approved the following donations: <br />o Anthony Romeo - scans of historical photos of the Romeo family <br />o Barbara Stahr - family scrapbooks of Louisville newspaper articles <br />o Virginia Caranci - Red Cross card from 1942 belonging to her mother and <br />warranty deed from the Jordinelli family's purchase of the Museum's <br />Jordinelli House <br />o Larry Martella - family scrapbooks, historical photos, and other items <br />. Correspondence & News - The Superior Historical Commission will present <br />a historical program about the life of Josephine Roche on April 23 <br />. Visitor Report: 76 visitors in March; 275 to date in 2009. <br />. Activity Report <br />o Visit by Joanna Sampson, local historian and author <br />o Visit by members of the Carpenter (Carpanzano) family that lived in Little <br />Italy until around 1940 and who are relatives of our historical program <br />speaker, Alisa Zahller <br />o Bridget recently assisted Parks and Rec Department with histories of <br />open space for purposes of developing walking tours <br />o In March, Bridget attended the Professional Group meeting of the <br />Association of Northern Front Range Museums, with a program <br />presented on interpretation and how museums can make meaningful <br />connections with visitors through exhibits and materials <br />. Louisville Historian - The next Historian will have a Fire Department theme <br />with articles by Sean and Bridget; Society members will be solicited to <br />volunteer with the Oral History Project. <br />. Sales Tax Update for First Quarter: Gross sales: $2904.00. $2515.00 in <br />memberships deducted, leaving a total of $389.00. $11.00 collected for the <br />City sales tax, $16.00 for the State sales tax. <br /> <br />XI. Committee Reports <br />A. Facilities - One bench on the campus has been installed; the other is still to be <br />installed. <br />B. Community Education <br />. May 13 spring historical program to take place at the Arts Center with a <br />presentation by Alisa Zahller, Associate Curator at the Colorado Historical <br />Society, on Italians in Colorado <br />
