IT is time again for the Annual "Life in Louisville" photography competition. Digital or scanned
entries gathered over the previous year that capture the essence of "Life in Louisville" will be
showcased and added to a collection documenting Louisville, its residents, visitors, events, and all around
lifestyle.
Entries may appear in City of Louisville publications and in various places such as the Library, the His-
torical Museum, the Recreation & Senior Center, the Arts Center, in print, on TV, and on the Internet.
This competition aims to help preserve images and reminders of Louisville for future generations. The
average citizen's idea of what "Life in Louisville" is will be an invaluable historical asset to this and future
generations.
Photos will be judged in three categories: student, amatuer, and professional. Winners will be recog-
nized by the City Council and the winning photos will be on display on the City's web site.
Visit www.louisvilleco.gov for entry forms and additional information. The entry deadline is July 31,
2009, by 4:00 PM. Please contact Meredyth Muth at meredythm@louisvilleco.gov or 303.335.4536 with
any questions or comments.
