6 CityOf <br />Louisville <br />COLORADO -SINCE 1878 <br />Economic Vitality Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />Friday, February 18, 2022 <br />Regular Electronic Meeting <br />Call to Order: Chair Dickinson, called the electronic meeting to order at 1:32 <br />PM. <br />II. Roll Call: The following members of the City Council were present: <br />Councilmember Dickinson, Councilmember Fahey, and Councilmember Most. <br />Also present were Economic Vitality Director Megan Pierce and Economic <br />Vitality Specialist Austin Brown. Two members of the public were present. <br />III. Approval of Agenda: Councilmember Fahey made a motion to approve the <br />agenda as amended. The motion was seconded by Chair Dickinson. Motion <br />passed. <br />IV. Approval of Meeting Minutes: Councilmember Fahey made a motion to <br />approve the meeting minutes of December 17, 2021. The motion was seconded <br />by Chair Dickinson. Motion passed. <br />V. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda: Public comment from Mike <br />Kranzdorf, downtown commercial property owner: Mr. Kranzdorf thanked <br />Councilmembers and staff for their efforts following the Marshall Fire. Mr. <br />Kranzdorf also offered his condolences to Councilmember Fahey. Chair <br />Dickinson thanked Mr. Kranzdorf for his continued engagement. <br />Public comment from Rick Kron, President of the Downtown Business <br />Association: Mr. Kron also offered his condolences to Councilmember Fahey. <br />VI. Discussion/Direction- Strategic Plan Action #2-6: 2022 Business Forum: <br />Specialist Brown gave an overview of the proposed Business Forum contained <br />in Strategic Plan Action #2-6. Director Pierce clarified that staff would like to <br />identify a topic of discussion for the Business Forum during today's meeting. <br />Councilmember Most commented that recovery may be a broad topic that could <br />include both COVID-19 and the Marshall Fire. Councilmember Fahey added <br />that prevention may also be an appropriate topic for discussion. Chair Dickinson <br />submitted that resiliency may be another topic of interest for businesses.
