10/18/83

Page -9-

trucks, as they were having a problem in
their area presently with the school con-
struction.
Mr. Krueger stated that it was their plan
to construct all the streets from the beginning
of the project - starting development work
next month. Obviously the school doesn't
have that opportunity now as the irrigation
ditch is in the way. Construction trucks
for the Hilltop subdivision would be using
McCaslin Blvd. instead of coming through
Hillsborough West.
Director Kasch also advised that staff was
working with the construction crews on the
school project to see if something could be
done temporarily with the ditch so that
Hillsborough West streets would not be used.

Sale of Lots To Private
Builders

Councilman Leary stated that at one of the
meetings Mr. Krueger had indicated that there
was a likely possibility that some of the lots
could be sold to private builders, is this
still a possibility?
Krueger replied that it was. But the overall
covenants will regulate the type of
design of the homes.
Councilman Leary commented the possibility
of requiring a minimum square footage on
the houses was discussed - was this in the
current agreement.
Krueger advised that the written statement
that had been provided by him was also a
part of their proposal and it did specify
square footages. The homes range from 1,480
sq. ft. of finished area up to 3,000 sq. ft.
if the finished and unfinished is added to-
gether.

RESOLUTION #42 ADOPTED

Councilwoman Morris moved, Councilman Cussen
seconded that Resolution #42 - Hilltop Final
Plat and P.U.D. be adopted. Question called
for. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously.

Councilwoman Morris

Inquired if the number of units per year
was p.!aced in the agreement.
Attorney Rautenstraus advised what was dis-
cussed was 5 for 1983, 22 for the three
succeeding years.

~umber of Units Per Year

Mayor Meier moved that Hilltop subdivision
be allotted to build 5 units for 1983 and
22 units for each year for the following three
years.
