<br />AUTHORIZATION & APPROVAL <br /> <br />WESTERN EMPIRE CONST. - CHANGE <br />ORDER 111 <br /> <br />AUTHORIZATION AND APPROVAL <br /> <br />r- ....ERWATER PLANT - FILL <br />L. ....'ERIAL <br /> <br />AUTHORIZATION <br /> <br />WILLIAM DHIEUX, JR., FIRE <br />MARSHALL - FIREWORK'S REPORT <br /> <br />4/19/83 <br /> <br />Page -2- <br /> <br />Administrator Wurl advised that the City is <br />responsible for 36% of the payment and the <br />balance would be paid by Homart. <br /> <br />Councilman Cussen moved, Mayor Meier seconded <br />that Pay Estimate No.1 to Western Empire <br />Constructors in the amount of $9,180.00 be <br />approved and payment be authorized. Question <br />called for. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Councilmembers had a copy of a letter from <br />Rocky Mountain Consultants explaining the <br />reason for the change order in the amount of <br />$4,025.00. <br /> <br />Councilwoman Morris moved, Councilman Cussen <br />seconded that Change Order 1F1 be approved <br />and payment to Western Empire Constructors <br />in the amount of $4,025.00 be authorized. <br />Question called for. All in favor. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Councilmembers had a copy of a letter from <br />Western Empire Constructors, Inc. requesting <br />purchase of additional fill material. <br /> <br />Councilwoman Morris moved, Councilman Cussen <br />seconded that a maximum of $8,000.00 be author- <br />ized to purchase fill material for the waste- <br />water plant. Question called for. All in <br />favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Introduced himself to council as the new <br />Fire Marshall for the Louisville Fire Pro- <br />tection District, and presented them with <br />a report regarding fireworks from the National <br />Fire Protection Association. Stated due to <br />this report would not support the sale of fire- <br />works or the discharge of them within the <br />Louisville Fire Protection District. He <br />had also provided a copy of the report to <br />Director of Public Safety Leesman, City Attor- <br />ney Rautenstraus and Boulder County Sheriff's <br />Dept. Advised he would support the discharge <br />of fireworks only by permit or supervised <br />personnel who are authorized to do so for <br />fireworks displays only. <br />
