4/19/83 Page -6- ADOPTION WITH &~ENDMENTS Councilman Cummings moved, Councilman Cussen seconded that Ordinance #787 - Tap Fee Changes be adopted with suggested amendments. Councilman Leary Commented he wasn't certain how water storage costs were to be determined. In terms of tap fee winter water storage-didn't feel would differ that much for apartments or condos than it would from single family dwellings. Inquired if that factor had been built into the figures. Administrator Wurl stated the basis in the past has been the fund is generated from the single family dwellings. Those numbers as projected would accomodate the costs relative to both water rights and water storage. If there should be a big shift in the proposed land use from the single family projections and they are substantially reduced and the condos, townhouse, etc. are increased these figures would have to be modified. Discussion by council regarding the equity issue of multi-family units in terms of storage costs. Roll call vote Morris Cummings Cussen Ferrera Fauson Meier Leary Motion carried on the No Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes No 5-2. motion: ORDINANCE #788 - PLANNING COMMISSION MEMBERSHIP Councilmembers had a copy of the ordinance; Attorney Rautenstraus read it by title only on second reading and certified proper pub- lication. Rautentraus advised that the ordinance had been amended since first read- ing changing the date from January 1, 1985 to January 9, 1984 in the body of the ordinance.
