<br />Don Taylor, 104 Carter <br />Court <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />ORDINANCE #786 - WARD <br />REDISTRICTING - PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />ADOPTED <br /> <br />ORDINANCE #787 - TAP FEE <br />CHANGES <br /> <br />4/19/83 <br /> <br />Page -5- <br /> <br />Wished to suggest to the City that they <br />should settle the issue - P.U.D. and every- <br />thing about the Homart development before <br />any more annexations are considered. <br />Mr. Taylor inquired when Louisville would <br />start taking water that filters through the <br />Marshall Landfill so that those who prefer <br />can purchase bottled water? <br />Administrator Wur1 stated approximately May <br />15th. <br /> <br />Attorney Rautenstraus read the ordinance <br />by title only on second reading and certified <br />proper publication. <br /> <br />Mayor Meier opened the public hearing, and <br />Attorney Rautenstraus advised public hearing <br />notices were published March 23, 1983, and <br />April 6, 1983, and the map setting forth the <br />wards was published April 6, 1983. <br />Mayor Meier continued the public hearing and <br />asked if there was anyone present in favor <br />of the ordinance - none. In opposition - none. <br />Council comments - Councilwoman Morris wished <br />to thank her constituents in Ward III that <br />supported her in the municipal election and <br />since that time and would hope to continue <br />to represent those people even though, as <br />of this evening, she will become an official <br />representative of Ward II. <br />Mayor Meier closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Cussen <br />seconded that Ordinance #786 - Ward Redistrict- <br /> <br />ing be adopted. <br />Leary <br />Meier <br />Fauson <br />Cummings <br />Ferrera <br />Morris <br />Cussen <br />Motion carried <br /> <br />Roll call vote: <br />Yes <br />Yes <br />Yes <br />Yes <br />Yes <br />Yes <br />Yes <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Counci1members had a copy of the ordinance; <br />Attorney Rautenstraus read it by title only <br />on second reading and certified proper pub- <br />lication. Also advised that staff is recom- <br />mending amendments. <br />Administrator Wur1 stated the suggested changes <br />in wording on page 2 - Demand 23-45 - 1" tap, <br />and 46-80 - 1~ tap size. <br />
