<br />City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />May 19, 2009 <br />Page 2 of 5 <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tem Marsella called for changes to the consent agenda and hearing <br />none Councilor Dalton moved the consent agenda be approved, seconded by <br />Councilor Clabots. All in favor. <br /> <br />A. Approval of Bills <br />B. Approval of Minutes May 5, 2009 <br />C. A ward Contract to Hoff Construction for 2009 Louisville Trail <br />Connections Project <br />D. IGA Between Louisville, Lafayette and Boulder County for Water <br />Service to the Harney Lastoka Open Space Historic Farm House <br />and Community Gardens <br />E. Approve Purchase of Dump Truck with Plow Equipment <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Rich Miller, 1230 Kennedy Avenue, Louisville, CO inquired if all expenditures <br />were listed in the Council packets. Finance Director Watson responded transfers <br />for investments, debt service payments and automatic wire service transfers <br />were the only exceptions; all other expenditures were listed. Mr. Miller said he <br />wanted, in the spirit of transparency, daily expenditures such as office supplies to <br />be listed. <br /> <br />Mr. Miller felt the prairie dogs were destroying the land at Davidson Mesa. Mayor <br />Pro Tem Marsella and Parks and Recreation Director Stevens assured Mr. Miller <br />there is a management plan in place. Director Stevens told Mr. Miller he would <br />be happy to talk to him about the programs and policies. <br /> <br />COUNCil INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON <br />THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Councilor Muckle presented the City with a Special Project Award given by the <br />Boulder Heritage Roundtable to the "Make History" committee members for last <br />fall's ballot issue 2A. Boulder Heritage Roundtable has an annual presentation of <br />an award for special projects. Councilor Muckle nominated this group for the <br />successful passing of the historic preservation tax. <br /> <br />Councilor Dalton reported Mayor Pro Tem Marsella and Councilor Clabots were <br />presented with an award for Outstanding Elected Officials by the Colorado <br />Association of Recycling for their wholehearted support of legislation concerning <br />single hauler trash and recycling. Council congratulated both Council members. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Marsella complimented both City staff and citizens for their <br />participation. <br />
