<br />ADOPTION <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #25 - LAND & WATER <br />CONSERVATION PROGRAM <br /> <br />ADOPTION <br /> <br />:CEPTANCE OF THE CITY <br />fiTTORNEY'S REPORT <br /> <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br />WATER TRUCK - AWARD BIDS ON <br />TRUCK AND LEASE <br /> <br />APPROVAL TO AWARD BID <br /> <br />7/20/82 <br /> <br />Page -8- <br /> <br />Councilman Cussen moved, Councilman Ferrera <br />seconded that Resolution #24 - Public Service <br />Co. Special Review Use and Final Plat be <br />adopted. <br />Mayor Meier stated since he is an employee <br />of the Public Service Co. he would abstain <br />from voting on the resolution. <br />Question called for. 5 Ayes - Meier Abstained. <br />Motion carried.5-l. <br /> <br />Each member of Council had a copy of the resol- <br />ution. <br />Attorney Rautenstraus read the resolution <br />in its entirety. <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Ferrera <br />seconded that Resolution #25 - Land and Water <br />Conservation Program be adopted. <br />Question called for. All in favor. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Ferrera <br />seconded that the City Attorney's report <br />be accepted and placed on file. <br />Question called for. All in favor. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Recommendation was to award the bid to <br />the low bidder on the truck and low bidder <br />on the lease. Administrator Wurl stated <br />the reason for his recommendation was to <br />have funds from the Interchange Agreement <br />available for open space acquisition. <br />Funds for the lease-purchase of the water <br />truck would bl~ taken from the Revenue Sharing <br />Fund. <br />General discussion by Council favoring pur- <br />chase of the water truck from the Interchange <br />Agreement Jacobs/Kahan money. <br /> <br />Councilman Leary moved, Councilman Cussen <br />seconded that Council award the bid as <br />staff has recommended but that the truck <br />be purchased out-right with the Jacobs/Kahan <br />open space money. <br />Question called for. 5 Ayes - Councilman <br />Fauson dissenting. Motion carried 5-1. <br />
