<br />Councilman Leary <br /> <br />Administrator Wurl <br /> <br />Mayor Meier <br /> <br />4th Of July Celebration <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF THE BILLS <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />7/6/82 <br /> <br />Page -15- <br /> <br />Suggested that perhaps this could be dealt <br />with as a nuisance problem and carry more <br />clout. <br /> <br />Commented 14 cats in the 1200 block of <br />Jefferson do not have a home, but this <br />time we have a lot of evidence since the <br />last Cat Ordinance. <br /> <br />Cited an" instance where one property owner <br />threatened to put up an electric fence to <br />prevent cats from entering his yard and <br />destroying approximately $3,000 to $4,000 <br />worth of landscaping, and his child's <br />sandbox littered by his neighbor's cats. <br />He requested, with Council's approval, that <br />the City Attorney attempt to draft some <br />type of nuisance ordinance to deal with the <br />situation. <br /> <br />Mayor Meier wished to thank all those in- <br />volved in the .4th of July picnic and cele- <br />bration. He felt it was a "super" success, <br />and wished also to commend the American <br />Legion and Louisville Fire District for the <br />beautiful fireworks display. <br />Mayor Meier also presented councilmembers <br />with leather checkbook folders given to <br />them by the Omnibank to commorate the 100 <br />year incorporation of the City of Louisville. <br />Mr. Bianchi, president of the Omnibank was <br />in attendance and Mayor Meier thanked him <br />on behalf of himself and councilmembers. <br /> <br />Councilwoman Horris moved, Councilman Cussen <br />seconded that the council comments be ac- <br />cepted and placed on file. Question called <br />for. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />City Treasurer read the bills in the amount <br />of $131,093.17. <br />Councilman Curmllings moved that the bills be <br />approved and checks issued for the same. <br />Seconded by COlmcilman Fauson. Question <br />called for. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Meier terr~orarily adjourned the meeting <br />at 9:20 P.M. for executive session. <br />Meeting reconvened at 9:45 P.M. <br /> <br />Councilman Cummings moved, Councilman Ferrera <br />seconded that the meeting be adjourned.
