<br />ORDINANCE #765 - EXCLUDE <br />SOCIAL SECURITY PAYMENTS <br />SICK PAY <br /> <br />~UB~ICATION AUTHORIZED <br /> <br />ORDINANCE #766 - JUDGE'S <br />LARY <br /> <br />PUBLICATION AUTHORIZED <br /> <br />Councilman Cussen <br /> <br />PUBLICATION AUTHORIZED <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #22 - NEODATA FINAL <br />PLAT <br /> <br />6/15/82 <br /> <br />Page -7- <br /> <br />Ferrera <br />Fauson <br />Cussen <br />Morris <br />Leary <br />Meier <br />Motion carried <br /> <br />Yes <br />Yes <br />Yes <br />Yes <br />Yes <br />Yes <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Each councilmember had a copy of the ordinance. <br />Attorney Rautenstraus read the ordinance by <br />title only and the request was for Council's <br />approval to publish it. <br />Chief Accountant Caranci advised that an or- <br />dinance was required to refund to the City <br />and its employees the amount of social secur- <br />ity paid on sick pay; for the years 1977 to 1981. <br />The law now has been changed and social secur- <br />ity must be withheld on sick pay. <br /> <br />Councilman Leary moved, Councilman Cussen <br />seconded that Ordinance #765 be published. <br />Question called for. All in favor. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Each councilmember had a copy of the ordinance. <br />Attorney Rautenstraus read the ordinance by <br />title only and requested Council's authori- <br />zation for publication. <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Cummings <br />seconded that Ordinance #766 - Judge's <br />Salary be published. <br /> <br />QuestionedWhy doubling the salary of the <br />Municipal Judge came up at this time. <br />Attorney Rautenstraus advised that the budget <br />and the Judge )had been receiving a larger <br />amount than the previous ordinance had allowed. <br />This was found when the Municipal Court budget <br />was being submitted for 1983. <br /> <br />Question called for on the motion. All in <br />favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Attorney Rautenstraus read the resolution <br />in its entirety and each councilmember had <br />a copy, as well as other pertinent information. <br />Director Rupp gave a slide presentation of <br />the site and advised that several meetings <br />had taken place between the area residents, <br />the City and the developers. <br />
